With Episode 3, we’ve got lots of important setup going on–and for the most part, I am all for it.
…Man, Episode 2 was nuts. Ya’ll know why.
The hype train has departed the station, and is moving full speed ahead.
Volume 5 of RWBY, let’s go.
I know that Fridays are usually for analysis, but man, RWBY Volume 4 just wrapped up, and I’ve gotta talk about this crazy, crazy ride.
Another winter season, another volume of RWBY wrapped up. After the emotional mess that was Volume 3, the story of RWBY seemed to gain so much scope than before- there was a new, unheard of villain, Maidens with supernatural powers, and a whole world yet to be explored. The world of Remnant had opened up, the plot had began to move, and the characters we knew and loved for three volumes already now had a chance to grow. So, riding off the hype of Volume 3, how did Volume 4 do?
Huh. I actually thought we’d have a hiatus. Dang, could’ve sworn I saw that somewhere, not that I’m complaining!.
Anyways, dang, this episode was pretty good. Finally got some progression to Weiss’s and RNJR’s plot lines, after three episodes of Blake and Yang focus, got some good world building, and the first true cliffhanger of the season! I have a good amount I’d like to talk about here, and so, let’s just get into it!
Chapter 5 of Volume 4 is out, and man, it was certainly an interesting chapter to say the least. Lots of small, yet very interesting details were spread throughout the episode, that I think were worth talking about. It wasn’t exactly a bombshell of an episode, but what it lacked in concrete actions and revelations, it made up for in world-building information and character interaction. Without further ado, let’s get into the episode, and what we can stand to learn from it!
Alright, back again with a chapter that doesn’t progress the plot too much, but gives us a very interesting update on the blonde bombshell, some light as to why that farmer kid is in RWBY at all, and an intro to a character we’ve been waiting YEARS to see. Volume 4 is continuing to be rather intriguing, but without further ado, let’s get to it!
Back at it again, with the next chapter of RWBY Volume 4! Featuring a stowaway, a runaway, and someone’s who’s not really doing all right (forgive me), I’ve got a decent amount of stuff to talk about regarding this episode, and so, let’s not dilly-dally and jump straight into it!
Yeah, another reaction, rather than a larger countdown, or research-based post. Sorry! I’ll be posting a countdown, starting tomorrow, about my Top 22 Overwatch Heroes, so be ready for that!
Self-promotion aside. RWBY Volume 4, Episode 2. Damn. I’m sure for all those who have watched it, there’s a select few minutes that almost certainly grabbed your attention, but let’s go over the whole episode before that.
