And man, it really does feel like a lot has happened in these ten episodes.

Dreams. We all have’em, don’t we?
Shirobako’s eighth episode is full of them too–or rather, talk of dreams. And, as is so often the case with such a topic, the episode gets simultaneously deep, and relatable, very quickly.
Man, poor Ema.
If I had to describe this episode in one word, it would be “real.” Shirobako has already shown it is not adverse to getting down to the meaningful content very quickly, but this episode really hit that home.
And as much as I want to be a critic in some way, I’ve gotta say that I’m really loving it.
This episode wasn’t exactly the most upbeat one, to say the least. Not that it was bad at all, but boy, there was a lot going on.
Man, Shirobako is damn good. And boy, does it really, really hit home.
